First stop on the Shoot From The Heart Promo Tour is the Tri-Cities region of Tennessee on April 13th. Con and the IMMI team get an early start with an appearance on WJHL, News Channel 11, the local CBS affiliate in Johnson City. Here Con is being interviewed by news anchor Josh Smith about the new CD and the promotional tour. |
| Next stop is WCYB-TV, Channel 5, the NBC affiliate for the Tri-Cities, TN area. Here Con poses with news anchor Amy Lynn just after going on her show. |
| What city am I in again??????
Con patiently waits for yet another interview.
In advance of his trip to Tri-Cities, Con was featured on the cover of The Loafer, the local entertainment weekly, with a story about the new album and also received coverage about his visit to Tri-Cities in many of the Johnson City, Bristol and Kingsport newspapers. |
| Next, the IMMI team visits a few radio stations to spread the word about the new album and his Wal-Mart appearance at the Ft. Henry Drive Wal-Mart Supercenter that evening. Con did a quick visit to Citadel Broadcasting and caught up with friends there, then did a phone interview with Reggie Neal of WXBQ, 96.9 The Rabbit, on his way to the next one.
The IMMI team took a DEEtour, got lost and was a little late showing up for the next station, but DJ Tom Davis of radio station WRGS in Rogersville graciously accommodated our schedule and did a great interview with Con in the time we had remaining.
