|CMA-Fest 2009Day Three|
Day Three gets underway with sparkles of red, white, and blue!
These two lovely gals roped Con for a quick pic!
|A little more one on one time with the fans...|
|Having served in the United States Air Force, Con has a great appreciation for our service men and women - past and present.
There is a real kindred spirit there, and he understands the sacrifices that are made to keep us all safe and free!|
|The Saturday during Fan Fair week is always the busiest day at the hall, and this Saturday does not disappoint. Looking at the pictures it's hard to tell who is having more fun...the fans, or Con!|
|Taking a little break and sharing a laugh with bandleader Burton Akers and IMMI Records VP A&R Mike Beeler.|
|Now here are a couple of adorable young fans!!|
|This year's CMA-Fest will draw to a close soon, so Con and the fans make the most of it....|
|Hmmm...to smooch or to be smooched, that is the question....|
|Con will not be able to make an appearance at Fan Fair Hall tomorrow, the last day of this grand event....he has several things lined up in the studio.
So the next few images are dedicated to a sampling of the varied and sundry items that Con is asked to autograph....|
In this first image a fan asks Con to autograph one of his popular head shots from the 80's (see the inset). Awesome!
|This year besides the photographs, it was mostly hats and guitars, which are highly prized possessions.
In years past however, there have been a few unmentionables.....
Here are a few of the many hats Con signed.
|This fan brought a flag all the way from Italy....|
|And there were many fans who carried their guitars through the hall in hopes of getting their favorite artist to autograph them, and Con was happy to oblige. There were big ones, little ones, acoustic ones, electric ones,
red, white and blue ones, and even a couple of cardboard ones... and all of them just a little more special now. |
That'll do it for this year's CMA-Fest! Hope you enjoyed this little snapshot of our time there, and here's hoping we will see you there next year...
